Grailed. On Our Radar: Emerging Label byDrewCwiek.

Launched in 2022, Drew Cwiek’s label draws inspiration from his upbringing in rural America, where family dynamics and familiar landscapes formulate the foundation of his designs. His work carries a subtle nostalgia, reinterpreting ordinary moments with a thoughtful, dreamlike modern lens.

Traveling plays a vital role in Cwiek’s creative process. The heightened awareness of being surrounded by the unknown is a feeling that flows through his designs. This sensory stimuli offers fresh perspectives, sharpening his attention to detail and environment.

Each garment is considered not just in how it’s made, but also where it belongs and to whom it belongs, representing its own entity and the universe created by Cwiek. Reminiscent of designers such as Kiko Kostadinov and Dauan Jacari, Cwiek shares their ability to turn personal narrative into intentional, expressive clothing.

Grailed spoke with Cwiek in order to better understand the message he hopes to deliver through his work. He stated simply: “I hope to deliver the message of my world.”
